From which country / town do you come from?
Hello.I'm #449. keyboardist of GOTHIKA.I'm from Nagoya/Japan.and andro from Akita/Japan.
how are you doing? Where are you currently?
We're fine.We're in Berlin/Germany.
Could you briefly summarize Gothika and what you guys are about?
Sexed up Electronica!!
what noise do you make in Gothika?
We're electro/EBM/Synth pop band.
How's the start of 2010 been for you thus far?
Actually not bad, many concert we were planning.
Other incoming projects?
I hope to start new project when I got more free time.And andro is also planning ne project.
If people don't know what you and your music are about where have they been!?,how would you describe yourself?
Sexed up Electronica!!
If you could play a show anywhere in the world where would it be?
I want to play in Israel.It's one of my dream.
What day jobs did you guys have while you were putting the band together?
I was making operation guide for computer software.
What is your music background? Who are you and your bandmembers? Tell your story
For me, I infruenced most from game music sound.
What do you do when you're not partaking in band activities?
I'm often searching about international situation.
Back to your roots, how did you first come to music?
TV and games are my first music experience.

When did you form Gothika? What inspired you to make music together?
As GOTHIKA we started 2007. We were already playing together.

Do you keep up with how the record has been selling?Is that really important to you?
Yeah...it's really important benefit.I think we sold so many CD compare to other bands.
Who is your favorite band at the moment?
At the moment, Grendel.
What band or bands would you like to tour with and why?
With Das Ich in europe. they're great band and great friends.
Is touring a pleasure or a necessary evil?
I like to do concert very much. But the works related it is most of time stressful.
What would you be doing right now if you weren't in Gothika?
Sushi meister.
And that's how you came up with the name of the band? How did you come up with the name Gothika?
Just chose the word which will fit to atomsphere of the song world.And it's kind of tricky. Cause our sound is more close to elctro than gothic.
How did you come up with the title "ZeitGeist" (Gothika latest CD) ?
The theme of album was exist first. I just choose the title which will fit for the theme most.I can say now, it was the best choise for this album.
All right. You guys toured heavily after "ZeitGeist" came out. How did the whole touring, to support that record, turn out?
It's doesn't matter. Generally we like to play concerts.And we have to get money from them.
How do you feel to hold the finished cd in your hands?
Made one step.
What are you currently listening to on your mp3 player? What artists have you been listening to these days?

Do you spend a lot of time on remixing other artists tracks or is it something you do when you have some time over?
I alway spend a lot of time, I have to know how I can make it faster...
Is your family pretty impressed with what you've done?
yeah...I think so.
Have you recorded any previous cd`s or posted any audio files on the Internet? what type of recording process did you use? who produced your recording?
We made it on mainly on Cubase. We made it only our selves.
What are your views on the current state of this Electro / Industrial / New wave scene in Germany.in terms of creativity and audiences? And the scene in other countries?
Now more and more new harsh electro band coming from all over europe.But for me, most of them are just average.Someone have to try to make new style.Other countries, they are more hungry and pure for new style bands.
What new music inspires you when you are writing? tell me about lyrical compositions what you can tell about the done work? How does your music creation process work? How do you create a song?
Try to combine beat and melody and then I will decide direction of the song.
How did you sell your CD's/Audio Files? (Consignment? Live sales? My space, iTunes,Distributor?)
Distribute from Danse Macabre label. Also some dowload sales.And of course, at the venue, we sell CDs.
Since the music industry is more open now to purely electronic music has this made things easier for you?
I haven't felt any changes since I moved to Germany. Sorry...
So what are their main influences as a band at the moment?
Mostly the band we played together.
Do you see the Internet as a benefit for bands like Gothika? Does the growing possibility of someone downloading your material, rather than buying it,worry you?
I think we got more benefit by the internet.But yeah...please don't dowload ILLEGALY.
How do you see the future of download / Copyright in area of goth-Electro / Industrial / New wave music ? What are the best ways to develop it in your mind ?
I think it will not be badder more than now.Already 90% of listener just downloading music.
What about all the big festivals? Summer Darkness in the netherlands? Mera Luna in Germany Familientreffen in Germany and Wave Gothic Treffen in Germany and many more?
We really like to play and spend the times in big festival! Especially Summer Darkness is one of the greatest.
what is the key to making music from Gothika and what inspires you to keep growing as a musician?
Fans are very important, of course.
If there was one thing you want people to know about your band what would that be?
Please come to concert.

We make short UK tour in September.In October and November, we will make bigger CIS tour.And next Spring, we will release new album.

Do you think the music industry is dead?
In Japan, yes. In europe, becoming smaller.But I can think it's also start.
Where would you like to see Gothika three years from now?
In Russia, first european tour.
What's the band's favorite song to play live?
At the moment, Abattoir.
What was it like the first time you heard one of your songs on the radio ore internet ore clubs? who was the DJ that played your song?
DJ Death from England.
And, finally, what does the next twelve months hold for the band?
I will make songs!!
