Angels On Acid
Angels On Acid was founded by Michael Banks in 2003 with a heavy influence in Metal,Psychedelic Trance,HardCore,Gabber, and Industrial. The creative vision was to merge all of the dark, aggressive styles of the last 20 years into a new genre of music that he calls “Psybercore.” or “NEUROMETAL”.Michael began working with Metal guitarist The Omen in the fall of 2005 and released “THE Dominate E.P.” in the spring of 2006. The Dominate E.P.was milestone of diversity for their early experimentation of industrial,Ebm,psytrance, metal, and even synthpop. And though the early stages of their style was born, the hunger for something more defined kept them digging for something deeper.Angels On Acid is currently working on material for their up and coming full length album “Eyes Behind The Curtain”breaking new ground With tracks like the neurometal screwdriver“This Present Darkness” and the brewing psybercore fury of “Leviathan” Angels On Acid opened the gates for a whole new world of dark, aggressive dance music.SO prepare yourself..This is only the beginning...

Adverse Reaction
Industrial / Electro / ElectronicaHailing from New Jersey, Adverse Reaction (aka Michael Tomaselli) has been involved with quite a few projects. His alias, M'Ocean, has been his artist name for many years and has been successfully producing Progressive House and Tech House tracks for quite some time.Recently he formed Adverse Reaction as his alter ego. Adverse Reaction focuses more on the Electro/Industrial spectrum. He injects atmosphere, intelligent sound design, synthetic stucture, meshed with pulsating/driving, hypnotic rhythm, and overall tight production into his work. You can expect to hear old-school ebm influence intertwined with an updated progressive sound, cinematic sampling, sound fx, distorted vocals, and plenty of hard hitting beats.History, media, (and all it's propaganda) human behavior, winter months, spooky imagery, fear, inner demons within us all, and everyday real-life situations are some of his inspiration for material. The ideas will continue to grow, stay tuned for more. -AR

Aestetic Idiosyncrasy
Aestetic Idiosyncrasy from Kreis Schleswig-Flensburg,Germany Electro-EBM with influences of Trance and Industrial. After participating in different bands as a singer, keyboarder and backing-vocalist,Christian M.decided in the year 2000 to found "Aestetic Idiosyncrasy".The first songs, written in 2001,are called "The Pain Inside My Soul" and "My Intention".They got a really positive Feedback and were released on "The Last Step" Since this time Christian worked very intensive on the writing of songs, and released his Cd "Dysphoria E.P." in march 2005.The lyrics are based mainly on his personal experiences and the resulting emotions like fear, anger, hate, love, It`s not easy to categorize the music of "AI",because Christian uses elements of very different genres in his music. For his life-performances he gets support at the keyboards and backing-vocals by Torben S.,who is also a member of the Synthpop-Band "ALAmobiA"

Adrenochrom
Ten years of Adrenochrom and almost five years of www.adrenochrom.com seems fair enough for an entire website re-launch.The whole story began in the year 1989 with the foundation of the band “Spastic Noise Front”, consequently followed by the band “Kesselflaysh” (also well know as Kess’lflaysh and Kesselfleisch) which already burst due to musical differences in the year 1992.Many projects would follow like “Corpus Christ”, “Synthetische Schleimhaut”, “TBA”, “Plastic Pain Perception %”, as well as collaborations with “Schmerzverstaerker”.In the year 1996, the band releases their demo “Hirnmasse erbrechen” and took the opportunity to rename themselves into Adrenochrom. There are further collaborations in pending, like with “Schimmel an der Wand”, Brutal verwester Gehoergang” and many more.Herewith, we would like to thank all the people who have supported us throughout the years, especially those who really had to face our demos and successfully survived. I indeed apologize for the pain caused…

Adolf Filter
It all started out as a one man project by Daniel Svraka in the summer of 2004.At this point Daniel introduced Conny Klenze for the band. And asked him to join.Conny already organized electronic sounds with his ambient plan Infinitium. And had got experiences from developing sounds in an electronic way. Therefore there was no denial for Daniel to ask him to join.Shortly Conny accepted the offer and became a member of the project. It ended up with Adolf Filter becoming a duo.Eventually Adolf Filter started to produce some simple analogue tunes in an odd classic way. With no computers, and by using only synthesizers, drummachines and sequencers.Adolf Filter are currently working on their debut CD “Mein Kampf”.Which refers to their own struggle to spread their sound to the world. The CD are to be released in the beginning of 2007 and can be ordered from their homepage. The music is mostly inspired by electronic music, but also news,TV,art and strong symbols.Adolf Filter are not political what so ever

Aghiatrias
In autumn of 1999 Vladimír Hirsch (composition, keyboards, samplers, drums, vocals, computer) and Tom Saivon (noise generators, samples, computer, lyrics) joined their creative efforts in this project, which is a kind of extrapolation and the combination of contemporary classical (Hirsch) and noise (Saivon) tendencies within SKROL, which was eventually, through mutual infiltration by basic theses and antitheses, brought to life as a fully homogenous structure by both members of the group. The first AGHIATRIAS album is based on grasping both ways in a manner, which would allow them to partake of each other’s principal formal attributes, both on the basis of violent confrontation and of mutual empathy, which should lead to a unification of seemingly irreconcilable worlds. This happens with the help of musical symbolism of their transsubstantiation into a single, indivisible essence, which act represents the metaphorical and philosopical principle of the formation’s. work. “Field Mass” is formally a classical opus, a mass with all standard liturgical elements, but settled within a simple, central plot framework. It illustrates a battle, interrupted by a scream so painful, that it makes both sides stop fighting and participate on a mass together. The mass eventually, at certain points, becomes the collision and analysis of the fight’s true motives, gradually eventuating into humility and a sign of peace, thereby uncovering the real motives of the battle, present on both sides. It is a drama, which does not end in an unequivocal solution, but a kind of common prayer in the sense of a final „ miserere nobis“.Album (1st release on our own label Integrated Music Records in 2002), is, from the viewpoint of musical form, another step of this formation on its way of integrating tonality into atonality, classical into postindustrial, etc. But this is only a music-theory description; it is a more matured transsubstantiation of form into a morphologically purer structure. Once again the effort is more obviously aimed not at getting a chemical compound, but an indecomposable element. Contrary to the preceding album the structure of the material is richer and more compact, the songs have a deeper and wider ambience, the emotional perceptions are more intense. The basic motif of the project is the intergrowth of anthropocentric materialism in the society’s thinking, the ways and consequences of its manipulation. From the viewpoint of the protagonist’s history of efforts it is an authentic reflexion, as the epic and expression of the project prove. So far the last project of the formation, finished in August 2003, representing a kind of „aghiatrisation“ of Hirsch’s solo project DE REGIONIBUS LIMINIS. An extensive dark-ambient album devoted to the theme of subliminal sensual perception and its fictive musical applicaiton. An abstract conception of the confrontation between the surreal and real world (artificial ambient versus realistic industrial sound). The meditative character of the compositions is brightened by discharges of a kind of radioactive irradiation, representing the fleeing moments of understanding. The formation aims for purity of expressive means in an effort to accentuate the role of the primarily suppressed and ignored spiritual dimension of our world, while pointing to the importance of the liminal “structures” of our perception. The fourth and as before thematic album of the Czech formation Aghiatrias, accomplishing its own concept of so- called integrated music that represents a confrontation in broad dimensions of contemporary classics, dark-ambient, noise and industrial. The central motif of this album is the refusal of broadly accepted materialistic view of the world and its future, demonstration of awareness of historical lapse of the human in relation to that what transcends him, well thought out attack against the "soul swallowers" supporting pathological mechanisms of hidden, nevertheless sophisticatedly planned process leading to the suppression of spirituality. The album is revocation and update of time-honored, in prism of today mistakenly as if mythical and therefore for many not existing combat of the good and the evil in the individual

Agapésis and A-state
Agapésis and A-state two groups from belgium a-state electro-industrial band,Band Members three members:jp:programmings, vocals, synths, melanie:vocal samplings, graphics Cd secretary of the group, dolores:write the texts, agapésis Electro / Gothic band,Band Members agapésis is composed of three members, JP (type-setter, arrangement, song,) Melanie (sample of voice and arrangement of the sites) Dolores (writes the texts,My name is JP I am carry it word of the groups A-State and Agapésis, I am also the musician, singer and type-setter We are two Belgian groups of Courtrai. The members of the two groups are the same ones, but Agapésis is Dark-electro, where as A-state is more industrial.Strongly marked by the Gothic movement, we compose music and words, whose poetry is at the same time influenced by feelings, such as the love, hatred, death and the company…

Agapésis,
the name is a derivative of the Greek name Agape which indicates the spiritual love.

A-state,
is to be understood in the direction “a state”:the state of life which include life and death, but between the two,the love which is the cause and the resultant.

I was member of two other groups, before giving birth to A-state & Agapésis. After having finished my studies with the academy,I create a group named “Feeling” towards 1980 with my friend,Bruno Carlier, who dealt of the words and the song, we left a 45tour (Vinil) under the title “traffic” .the group separated in 1986 the professional life Bruno imposing this choice to him.About 1999 came “Gloomy Angel”, this dark-wave group was composed of a singer (Jimmy),a singer (Amandine) and your servant for the field and the composition. But groups stopped in 2003 this faith following the different artistic ones. These groups could have gone, but missed maturity;however I do not disavow them because they enabled me to refine my art and to find my style,my way.Agapésis & A-state,are the children of my past, they are “me” I create the music as I feels it;I deal of the song, the composition, the music. But all that would be nothing non-cohesive narrow which us plain within the group,we are a whole,a triumvirate or my wife supports me, and with its studies of arts, deals with graphics for the CD' S, to me provided vocal samplings and finally deals with the sites,Dolores, who can translate into words the feelings felt in the music by texts which make to each piece the sum of our joined together sensitivities. After long days (and nights) of work we finalized a first album for the Agapésis group, and we were pleased to see one of our pieces of A-state included in one compiles in the United States, we seek now a label which could appreciate and promote our music.Of course Agapésis perhaps compared with other group, but Agapésis it is the history of my life,it is my life or rather the novel of my life written by my close relations and setting in music by myself...

Asseptic Room
Carlos Ruiz, a.k.a. Dj Voltteretto started to work like disc jockey in one of the finest & famous dancefloors in Madrid since 1988. Cult formations like Leæther Strip, Pankow, Front Line Assembly, Skinny Puppy, Infact, Click Click or The Klinik are only some referencies that later will influence him. During a long time working as disc jockey, Carlos decided to create his own music lifestyle equipped with only an Atari, keyboard Kawai and other rudimentary components made by himself. Some experiments were sufficient to begin his music career in the well known scene, there by 1996. - A strange day at 1998, happened a lucky strike, Carlos met Marcos during a hard and severe EBM/Industrial session. So, was born Dioxyde, a current project to nowadays.Between 1999 and 2000, Carlos and Marco, both sent a demo tape to Johan Van Roy (Suicide Commando) who received this files with a remarkable enthusiasm. Inmediatly, headhunter Johan contacted them and qualified it like an interesting and amazing project. Next step was to send a demo CD to Torben Schmidt (Lights of Euphoria) and finally he decides to trust on it, signing for the recent german label Dying Culture beside bands like XPQ-21, Decoded Feedback or X Marks the Pedwalk." - La "The Terrible Machine" came in 2001 enclosing the darkest neighbourhood nightmares. SUPERNOVA II NOVATION became the most powerful tool on his hands capable to invoke the Evil and demondance. The first live act was at Madrid mythic club Strong in November 2001. This concert was very successful and let them a lot of gratefull fans and two months later Dioxyde performed by first time in the Electro Hinterland. Managed by Johan Van Roy they played at Noise Terror II at the Belgian location of Hasselt with bands like Sleepwalk, Infact, Implant … and of course Suicide Commando. It was simply unforgettable. This event was the antecedent of Torschlüsspanik, the debut album for the Madrid based band. They invited the audience to taste the latent turns sensible terror further down the terror was converted in another citizen everyday. Visionary? Deliberate your own conclusions.Working within the EBM/Industrial genre, frecuently they're compared to Wumpscut and Hocico and some pieces are converted in clubhits; Panzerfaust, Angel -espina mortal-, AD Convert or Days.of Decay are played intensive with relative success all around Europa. These hits impulsed them to play live in Portugal, Canary Islands, Germany or the Netherlands among other places, adding on a new delighted supporters. - 2002 has a special meaning, Carlos initiates his side experiment Asseptic Room, a new perspective on his path like a solo member project. This act doesn't abandon the Dioxyde's Torschlüsspanik idiosyncrasy using religion, violence and all kind of fears like source of inspiration. In February 2004 Carlos decided to leave Dioxyde for prepare the new material for Asseptic Room. debut album: Morbid Visions that will be available as soon as possible. In the beginning 2006 Asseptic Room sing for DSBP Records.Begin the Terror

ASMODEUS X
Synthesizing the Electronic with the Esoteric Since inception in 1999, Asmodeus X is a band to be reckoned with. Hailing from Houston, Texas and housing members of early 90’s, old-school Goth-rockers, Morphine Angel, Paul Fredric and Marshall set out to uncover new musical directions with a project that fused electronic beats with esoteric ideas, a conceptualized re-manifestation of ancient teachings and metaphysical schools of thought, combined with futuristic and modern soundscapes. From the beginning of their journey in 1999, the sound of Asmodeus X is at once difficult to pigeon-hole or contain, drawing inspiration from many influential styles of music, including those that span the gamut from early 80's Goth to euphoric Trance beats, Experimental Noise to Futurepop and Synthpop, along with Kraftwerkian and Industrial influences that lend themselves to a unique hybrid of "DBM" --Daemonic Body Music.Early performances earned Asmodeus X a Houston Press Critic’s Choice Award for “Best New Industrial Act”, and in the millennial year, 2000, allowed for further crystallization of their sound through live performances including The Annual Houston Vampire Ball at Numbers Nightclub, along with a plethora of live shows throughout Texas with such acts as Attrition, Diva Destruction, The Last Dance, Cesium 137, Sunshine Blind, The Cruxshadows, Seraphim Shock, The Machine in The Garden, Bozo Porno Circus, Nocturne, Ctrl, Psyclon 9, Chant, and Houston synthpop artists, Provision. The Asmodeian sound is an electic one. From their neo-classical/minimalist beginnings with the instrumental “Cult of the Nassarene E.P.”, to Fritz Lang, Theremin-laced symphonics apparent on the “Nova Futura” singles, they have traversed styles while always maintaining an undeniable “essential” quality that is immediately recognizable; darkly compelling, hypnotic, inspiring and reflexive.2002 marked the debut of the power-driven and ‘survivalist’ themed “Wolf Age”, an album that is at once epic as it is controversial. The usage of minimalist synths and guitar-driven tracks along with Theremin instrumentations, viking horns and neo-folk, rock-aesthetics, formed a heavy homage to frozen Norse Lands and images of Babylon --an ongoing acknowledgement of Man’s eternal “existential” struggle. Additionally, the album delved deep into the urban technocracy of future worlds yet to be imagined, -a testament to the trying times of a 'sleeping' society, and an offering of brighter shores through the strangled cry of self-liberation. As Wolf Age undeniably championed these themes, it was also symbolic of the trials and tribulations of that year, where former guitarist Frank G. Lesikar passed away soon after, and the alchemical combinations of Asmo’s sound were splintered, resulting in a total re-configuration and new direction for the band. The introduction of percussionist, Joel313, marked an “illustrious new dawn” for Asmodeus X in the summer of 2003. The newly re-manifested 3 piece were now unified in a powerful combination of synthesized soundscapes and vocoder-induced ministrations, drawing heavily on a rich tapestry of EBM and trance influences, yet never surrendering the recognizable essence, that at once has become known as “The Asmodeian sound”. With these fruitful beginnings, the band made a new “home” with independent Atlanta-based label Latex Records, and following fast in its footsteps, saw the release of their second album “Morningstar”.Morningstar perhaps delves deeper than Wolf Age, in its central theme: “Lucifer Morningstar: The first among equals and the bearer of light. The Promethean story of a fall from grace, a struggle for identity, and the emergence of self-aware being. For this effort Asmodeus X is delving deep into the spheres of ebm, darkwave, and trance. A wholly synthetic effort drawing on analogue, digital and vintage synths, electronic percussion, vocoders, etc., Morningstar seeks to explore the seductively forbidden side of the human psyche - that which empowers us to create the very process of creation. “An album of grand proportions, Morningstar would soon set the world on fire through an inferno of Radio spots, live performances, interviews, internet distribution (itunes), Goth-club dancefloors, video appearances (Voices of the Fallen), cable access shows and various remixes by artists and DJs from all over the world. With a growing “cult” following and additional european release-parties, Morningstar has become critically acclaimed in its complex orchestrations of intelligent lyrics and hynotic beats.Thematically, Asmodeus X continues to court the unknown far-out trenches of space and time, serving to deepen their own evolution and development as a band, continuously pushing the boundaries of our social fabric, in content and concept. Refusing to subscribe to popularized expectations of certain genres of music, Asmodeus X continues to execute its own songs through instrumentations that lend nothing more than the unique fire that is and has always been simply, “Asmodeus X”. “It’s not what you have, it’s how you use it”, could be a valuable lesson learned when one experiences their music, and as the creative flow is always ever-changing, so the journey continues for Asmodeus X.

A-Set
Set is Hilton S.-programs, sequences, screamings..A-Set's music is somewhere between Industrial/EBM/Darkelectro and gets its influences from a lot of different bands like The Klinik, Skinny Puppy, Vomito Negro, FLA, Simbolo and yelworC, from movies by directors like Bunuel, Kubrik, Lynch and Miike, books by Schopenhauer, Nietzsche, De Sade, Rimbaud, Poe, Crowley, Austin Spare and Lautreamont, besides a lot of experiences, emotions and situations. Amateur God
I was recording Around the Corners of Our Minds at that time. It was March of 2004 and it was full moon. One of Neversun's events took place that day and I was in Ljubljana to attend it. I called Helena who lives nearby and we went for a chat and a cup of tea in a pub there. We stayed talking for three hours and a half. Despite the fact that I knew her for some years I never knew that she was playing the violin and singing. After that encounter I wrote ten minutes long White Kites, Black Sky where she exhibited both - her playing and singing. Not long after I quit a collaboration with the previous singer and I asked Helena to join me. Luckily she accepted and I think that Amateur God is now what it was meant to be.Irony was always a guiding star for Amateur God's concept and inspiration, based upon ridiculous human nature and senseless fights against it. The stir of our inner reflections and thoughts deriving from the world surrounding us is fantastic. I have to admit that even that stir of outer reflections to the world affected from what's inside us isn't something to underestimate either.Amateur God's name and concept offended some people and I liked it. Not that I like to offend folks, but I am glad that I am causing reactions, a chance to get into colourful discussions, checking many points of view - humans' richness and at the same time menace. I am fascinated by musicians that can gather melodic singing, detailed complex structures that merge into simpler integrity and a sober dose of emotions. Although Amateur God's music stands on solid pillars of melancholic industrial, my musical preferences come mostly from contemporary pop/rock acts that in most cases deviate from commercial orientation. There are some artists that I adore and keep them as a reference point, but I don't copy them. I rather use their influence in certain details while keeping a large portion of creative process for my own ideas while building a personal signature.Parallel process of writing one’s own music is remixing. I find this challenging - merging two worlds creating a third one. That's why I like collaborations that I broadened so far to Audioworx, Lamia, IWR and some other individuals. It's an expanding universe and we're in.

AntiQuark
AntiQuark is Maren (voice, art performance, subliminal messages), Ant Dakini (synthesizers, programming, sound sculpting, samples, guitars) and Raul (dangerous go-go moves).AntiQuark is KlinElectro, or experimental mad-scientist electronic pop. Much of the music is dancey, but we don't adhere to genres or types. We borrow from a number of styles and these old sounds and styles can be useful, but we want to escape from retro-ism and start mining the future of music. We use the computer as a tool and a jumping-off point for creating and playing music, without letting it dictate our sound or limit it in any way.Ant Dakini is from Torino, Italy. She is a biologist who specializes in shark research and a sound-engineer-composer for music for film.Maren is from Mars. She also plays in Marfa and Ne-af, an irritate-o noise-pop band, and was a longtime bassist/songwriter/vocalist in The Peppermints. As a model, Maren has appeared in numerous magazines and music videos, including the video for Robbie Williams's "Come Undone".When not touring, Ant and Maren divide their time between Los Angeles and San Diego.Raul is a go-go dancer/voodoo medium from Morelia, Mexico, who lurks mostly in San Francisco. He is a prolific artist and one of the best people anyone will ever meet.AntiQuark has peppered the western US with shows and tours several times, and toured Europe twice. They will tour in Europe again in the spring of 2006 and will play at Ladyfest Las Vegas in July.AntiQuark has shared the stage with such acts as The Vanishing, Project.44, the 16s, Le Tigre, Orgy, Godhead,Society 1, the Prids, Kill Me Tomorrow, Tender Buttons, Tribe 8, Black Ice, the Grand Elegance, The Phantom Limbs, Veronica Lipgloss + The Evil Eyes, S quab, A.R.E.Weapons, and Dead Meadow -- but resembles none of them.
