New release out On mid November 2006 AVARIE, the long-awaited debut of Uranium USSR 1972, will be out.Uranium USSR 1972 is an Angelo Bergamini solo project that till now performed just three well acclamated live performances.This is the album description made by Mauro Montacchini: A chapter apart in the history of ambient-trance music to be signed by Kirlian Camera's Angelo Bergamini: intellectual and proudly anti-intellectual at once, able to evoke strange and sometimes nervous alien urban worlds. Intimately powerful and innovative, this long awaited UU72 "opera prima" is a successful combination of new electronic horizons and retro vintage machines reaching a personal language, not paying any debt to any "experimentalists" in particular. Once again, Bergamini surprises us with a brand new idea, going to give life to a restless and rainy scenery made of extreme solitude, alienated rhythms and touching moments, all permeated by an unusual and fair sense of black humour. Latvian electro band “STandART” releases new MCD „Corrosion”.

In November 2006 electro band “STandART” from Latvia has released it’s latest MCD „Corrosion”.MCD contains several previously unreleased tracks–„Corrosion”,Aslan’s Song”,„Energia”and„The Wonderful Fair”–in English,Latvian and German.There are also several remixes included–made by „STandART”,Latvian synthpop project„Rabar”,Polish musician Hien,Belgian artists„Infrabuse” and Peter Vanek collaboration,and „Troubleshooter” aka Rob Holloway,former member of „Bitstream” (that remixed „Depeche Mode’s”„A Pain That I’m Used To” in 2005),who now represents German electronic music label„Iwari”.MCD „Corrosion” is produced by Overflow,Gatis Priekulis and STandART.This release also contains 2 new videos„Corrosion” and „Energia”,directed by band member Kalvis Kluburs,who worked together with well known Latvian culture photographer Kristaps Kalns, video producer Ivars Preimanis and operator/designer Agnese Ivane.Also the MCD will feature earlier video „Long-Haul Trucker’s Dream 2005” that was very well recieved in different Latvian and European video festivals,named as one of the best Latvian alternative music videos in 2005 and released on a DVD compilation„The Best Of Latvia”by Latvian major label„MicRec”„STandART” is a quite unusual band in the Baltic states–widely using the sound of analogue synthesizers and playing as live as possible in concerts,that is not too characteristic for such a music.The band has played together with„Camouflage”„Lowe”„The Ancient Gallery”,played at „De/Vision” concert afterparty in Riga,and and also made a remix for „Camouflage”.MCD „Corrosion”is the 4th MCD released by the band.And it was followed by „Corrosion Tour”over the Baltic States.MySpace page:www.myspace.com/standart Webpage:www.standartmusic.lv
