Hello! We're doing great, thank you for having us.

Our music could be described as Electro/Industrial, Harsh EBM.

It's been awesome. We released our debut album "The Mechanical Renaissance" this year and it's been great so far, a great response from the people and the media.
do you know the netherland?
I've never been there, but I've heard is beautiful. I love you guys use more bicycles than cars, that's awesome. For a lot of people, this is probably going to be their first full introduction to
Psyborg Corp so how about you tell us a little bit about how you guys know each other and how the band came together?
The band started in 2008; we started perfoming live locally and composing the songs that you can find today in our album.
Do you follow the electronic music Industrial/electronica, do you have any other favourite bands? So what are their main influences as a band at the moment? What is currently inspiring your material as an artist?
Of course, they are our inspiration,I love a lot of bands like Grendel,Tactical Sekt,FGFC820,X-Fusion,SAM,Imperative Reaction, and many others!
How is your relationship with other electronic bands?
It's been great so far, we've made a lot of good friends along the way with bands from all over the world.
Can you give us a brief run-through of Psyborg Corp story so far? When did you form Psyborg Corp? What inspired you to make music together?
Psyborg Corp. was born in 2008 in bogotá, Colombia. We have Miss Pixel on Bass, UserX86 on Guitars, and p5YbORG! on Vocals, Sampling and Programming. We've been playing locally quite a lot and had a great response from our local scene who always follow us wherever we perform. We got signed by German label NoiTekk in 2009, and later released our debut album in February 2010, and now it's available all over the world, we have received great critics from Europe, the US and south America and we are very pleased a lot of people are enjoying our work.
What are your top ten favorite Industrial/electronica Club Songs of all time? Who are you influenced by?
It's hard to choose 10 songs, since there's quite a lot of great music going on. Mostly like the bands I mentioned earlier.
What would you consider your favorite cd's?
From the Electro/Inustrial scene I would say
"Harsh Generation" (Grendel),
"Hexakosioihexekontahexa" (Agonoize),
"Ultima Ratio" (X-Fusion),
"Destruction Unit" (SAM)
are all great albums, and a lot more!!
What are the future plans for Psyborg Corp?
Keep promoting our first album, performing abroad and then start to write new songs for our 2nd album!
What is the main idea, the message you want to leave to people who listens to you? What is your motto? "The Mechanical Renaissance" where did the concept come from? and whats planned now that your album is finished? or anything else you're working on? Tell me why this title,"The Mechanical Renaissance" Tell us a few words about the concept of this?
For "The Mechanical Renaissance" we tried to talk about the rising and possible fall of humanity, because of the unstopabble advancing of technology, we can take a great advantage of this advance, but it also could be our doom if we refuse to see the whole pictures, the moral and ethic implications, and the chain of events this could (or will) unleash.
What’s the name of your band? where did the name come from? or what's the story behind the band name?
There's no deep meaning for it, I just wanted to creat a name that described a highly advanced technology involving the human achievements and its implications.
If people don't know what you and your music are about, how would you describe Psyborg Corp? What genre of music do you consider your work to be? Who are your major influences?
It's basically Harsh EBM, with a strong melodic, cyberpunk sound, visual and lyrical concept.
How is your relationship with the fans like? Is it nice to meet fans or have you also problems with intrusive hysterical female and male admirers?
Not at all. We have a great relationship with our fans and followers. It's obvious the internet keeps us in touch and receiving constant feedback from all around the world and the guys and girls that write message to us have been very kind and supportive, and we appreciate that a lot.
How do you feel to hold the finished cd in your hands?
It's very exciting, it's a dream come true! Having the result of very hard work it's very rewarding and encourages you to keep working.
How is the current promotional tour going for supporting this album?
We've been performing in Colombia a lot, we are going to visit a couple of cities here and hopefully will visit 2 southamerican countries before december. We expect to visit Europe and/or the US next year.
What do you think of a modern Gothic and about Industrial/electronica scene? I think it's a very diverse and yet tolerant scene, full of people eager to listen new sounds and new experiences. What's your favourite track of yours?
Our personal favorite would be "Technocracy", which is also the first single we released from "The Mechanical Renaissance", and can be downloaded for free from our myspace:
www.myspace.com/psyborgcorp
What and who gets you excited about music today?
Nowadays, the simplicity can give you a lot of surprises!
Our usual question - what is music for you?
It's a wonderful channel to express yourself, in way the words aren't enough.
What was your best live experience so far?
Last may we had our Release Party here in Bogotá, and it was amazing, the people was so into our music, it was very exciting!
What are your views on the current state of this Industrial/electronica scene in Colombia.in terms of creativity and audiences? tell me all about the Industrial/electronica scene of Colombia? And the scene in other countries?
The Industrial scene in Colombia is still very young, it still growing and it will keep that way as long we have people willing to work for it. I think it can vary a lot from country to country.
you have very nice numbers` tell me about lyrical compositions what you can tell about the done work? How does your music creation process work? How do you create a song?
The music and the lyrics are composed by p5YbORG!, once the song is ready to be ensambled, then we start to rehearse and polish up until i's done.
Since the music industry is more open now to purely electronic music has this made things easier for you?
Well, yes. Still, is not the most determining factor though.
Do you think that people from the music press didn't expect you to grow up musically?
Not at all. Most of the media that have reviewed our album thinks we have a very promising future. There's also a small group of people that think otherwise. It's a matter of taste and opinion. Everyone have a different perception of everything; I think the most important thing here is that we feel happy with the music we are doing, and the way we want our band to evolve and grow musically.
what is the key to making music from Psyborg Corp and what inspires you to keep growing as a musician?
I think the inspiration for Psyborg Corp. comes from music itself, and the will of my spirit to acomplish something I always dreamt of.
How do you see the future of download / Copyright in area of goth-Industrial/electronica music ? What are the best ways to develop it in your mind ?
Obviously the CD is in its last hour and the industry will definitely become digital. I think it's important to keep it legal, and protect the rights of the artists. As long as the industry can.
