Greetings Hagen’s Brut could you please shortly introduce our readers your music project Hagen’s Brut?
We are Hagen´s Brut,from Germany, Saxonia.we try to combine medival lyrics and unmodern electronic sounds. We also play songs with present political and human lyrics.
Please fill also a biographical resume about how,when and where...Hagen’s Brut was founded in 2007 give us a more background information?
We founded our self during a drinking session in the year 2007. Our goal was to drink free carering beer and see girls behind the stage. Jefry, our gitare player and second kayborder, joyned Hagen´s Brut later, becouse of his technical knowhow.
How did you start to make EBM and what is EBM for you ?
We were alway fans of fasta, loud and dark electronic music and EBM is only a name for many musical genres.
How has your EBM evolved since you first began playing EBM ?
Our music has´nt evolved, we want to find our on style and we do this sicne we founded Hagen´s Brut.
What and who are some of your influences in EBM
Influences are the dark electronis musik and aspecily Calva Y Nada, Nitzer Ebb, Prager Handgriff etc.

We wont tell any secrets, what do you think about us. We can`t do anything right, but this we can realy good.
so tell me a bit more about yourself, such as musical?
We´re notorius drunk, we like to fuck, to eat and let the sun shine down on our bellies. We dont obay to anyone and we make our on politic

What is the main idea, the message you want to leave to people who listens to you? What is your motto?
Life your live as you think, kneel to nobody and fight four youself and the things that mater.I know the first question is always boring but could you introduce
yourself and tell us a bit about the stuff that you do?
RoPu: 36, horny stud, europen history, alcohol, eating Bratwurst
Maro S: 38, working, hardcore single, drinking lots of beer, military history
Jefry: 38, my family, drinking and endles amount of beer, experiments with music
Uwe: 41, beeing the band grandfather, spiders, dolphins
What’s the name of your band? What’s the origin of that name? Have you changed the band’s name before?
Hagen´s Brut, this an homage on the wrighter Wolfgang Hohlbein. He wrothe the Nibelungen Saga from the opinion of Hagen von Tronje. We never changed our name.
When you start to record a new Promo,Demo,CDR Abum, ore riting done or does it continue in the studio?
The recording started about half an year after the band was founded and were working on our next LP.
where did the concept come from? and whats planned now that your album is finished? or anything else you're working on? Tell me why this title "Promo cd"? Tell us a few words about the concept of this 6 songs + 3 Bonus tracks ( live )?
Our "Promo Cd" is called "Promo CD" becouse it is a promo cd...The concept of the promo cd ist to show the world, that there is more then one sort of EBM.We have chosen this 9 tracks becouse the fans decided during a concert.
Are you a member of any EBM organizations
No.
How is the current promotional tour going for supporting this Promo?
Hmmm... In Germany wery good. We played bevore Das Ich, E-craft and Armageddon dildos.
What do you think of a modern EBM and about gothic scene ?
The modern EBM scene is way to right, atleast the dresscode. The modern gothic scene is more carnivl then alternative lifestyle.
Our usual question - what is gothic ore EBM from you?
The scenes like we they know, don´t exist anymore, wer´e out. Long live the Cyberpunk ;-)
What was your best live experience so far?
Supportact from Das Ich in Gera.During this concert,we found out,that EBMer and gothics listen to our music and have got fun during listening.

What are your views on the current state of this EBM scene in Germany.in
terms of creativity and audiences? And the scene in other countries?
The modern EBM scene is to minimal, for an exemple, DAF. But we also listen to Daf sometimes. Nobody has the courage today to play dark sounds or experimental music. Becouse this music evolved during the years to mainstream and we won´t play mainstream.
tell me about lyrical compositions what you can tell about the done work?How does your music creation process work? How do you create a song?
RoPu: I try to think like a guiulty person and to feel like an victim. I write songs about the world as I see it.
Maro S: I try to write songs with a historical background.
What genre of music do you consider your work to be? Who are your major influences?
Our genre is the pchicodelic-dark-electro. Influences: all of the darkest music.
What do you do to chill out?
drinking, fucking, eating, sleeping and so on
What are your favorite EBM ? and What is your favorite EBM band?
Our favorite EBM band is Nitzer Ebb, Leatherstrip, front 242
So what are their main influences as a band at the moment?
Depeche Mode, Kraftwerk, The Cure and "Leck mi aom Arsch"
What is currently inspiring your material as an artist? tell me all about the EBM scene of Germany?
Our EBM is not inspired by any artists, we make our own EBM and this starts in our heads. We don´t follow, we lead.
about the german EBM scene, "Alles scheiße außer Hagen´s Brut!" Germany EBM is disacepted in germany but swedish minimal electro is selled the germans as EBM and they buy it.
Do you think that people from the EBM press didn't expect you to grow up musically?
No and never!
what is the key to making EBM from Hagen’s Brut? and what inspires you to keep growing as a musician?
Our Hearts and souls are the kay to Hagen´s Bruts music an the inspration comes from our free thouts and the people we life with.
How do you see the future of download / Copyright in area of EBM.Goth-industrial music ? What are the best ways to develop it in your mind ?
The copyright laws are a fine thing, becouse musicans live from theyr selled cds not from concerts! On the other side Downloading is an easy way to get music, but when people only download the music, without paing then in some time there wont be fans that can go to concerts, becouse the tickets will cost much more than today. legal downloading, okay. but illegal downloding is a crime and must be punished, for the sace of the musicans.
If there was one thing you want people to know about your band what would that be?
Hagen´s Brut is fun!
what do you do in your spare time?
drinking, reading, fucking, sleeping, family, frends, no radio and no television.
What do you think of its intermingling with the electro, Darkwave and EBM scenes? while electro is your main musical pallet,what other music do you listen to?
Nothing is intermingling the scenes. we listen to electro and guitar musik in all variants.
How long have you been in the music industry and how has it changed over time? Now I have to ask,what's the inspiration for the Hagen’s Brut story?.
Not long ebough to recognize some changes. The inspiration was free catering beer and the combination of medival live and modern music.
