we are happy to get the chance to ask you a few questions For the first question will be Thanks Jonas that you have found time to give answers to these questions,
-Your welcome Iīm happy that you like our music and want to do an interview
From which country / town do you come from?
-Iīm from Sweden and the town called Malmö Itīs in the south
how are you doing? Where are you currently?
-Right now Iīm enjoying a very warm summer in my hometown
Tell me about this label Cynical Minds Recordings
-The label C.M.R is a small independent label from Helsingborg Itīs good because we have total artistic freedom We can make our song the way we want them to be
Could you briefly summarize F.T.T and what you guys are about?
-F.T.T is about give electronic musicfans(long word) ;) nice songs with nice lyrics and good harmonies We want people to take brake from there hectic lifes and go for a inner vacation.
Jonas what noise do you make in F.T.T?
-I make all the sounds you hear Matti the singer gets the song instrumenatal and makes lyrics I always comes up with a name and Matti does lyrics about the topic
How's the start of 2010 been for you thus far?
-2010 has been a great year we released our first singel The song have been played on the Swedish Radio P4 (public service radio)
tell me about your Single tell me by Cynical Minds Recordings?
-C.M.R choosed Tell Me they liked it But the version being released is not the original version We made a new version because the original Tell Me was made in the beginning of our journey and we had changes a lot of thing during the journey
If people don't know what you and your music are about where have they been!?,how would you describe yourself?
-To describe our music Well it depends of whom you want to describe it to If you talked about electronic music(synthpop) Everybody just thinks dMode and some say we sound like them BUT what electronic music doesnīt ;) I would say that we sound like dMode but with a touch of Alphaville, MUSE, SUEDE (songharmonies) And the new songs not put lyrics on yet we sound a little bit like Apoptygma Berzerk(there latest albums)
If you could play a show anywhere in the world where would it be?
-We like to play live so a special place hmm donīt know But a tour through europe would be nice( for starters ; )
What day jobs did you guys have while you were putting the band together?
-Iīm a Headchef in a big restaurant and Matti the singer is an a musicalartist
What is your music background? Who are you and your bandmembers? Tell your story
-My (Jonas) I started to play instruments back in school And then I became a D.J Mattis background comes from different artistschools Itīs only Matti and me in the band
What do you do when you're not partaking in band activities?
-Matti works as an entertainer on a cruseship And I work as a headchef in a big restaurant
Back to your roots, how did you first come to music?
-I(Jonas) started back in 80ties with a cheap yamaha keyboard and a drum machine from a Commodore 64
Matti have been a singer in different bands from different styles
If you weren't a musician what would you be?
-I guess the same as now when we donīt play music :)
When did you form F.T.T? What inspired you to make music together?
-I formed F.T.T in 2004 back then It was only instrumental music and back then Matti and me worked at the same restaurant we have the same taste in music and he heard the F.T.T instrumental songs and asked what is was He then asked if he could write some lyrics and well the rest is history
What are your top ten favorite Electro / Electronica Club Songs of all time?
-OOPS thatīs a difficult question there are so many But I will give it a try:

Do you keep up with how the record has been selling? Is that really important to you?
-We will get an update twice a year of how many record we sell But itīs not important Whatīs more important is that we are out there
Who is your favorite band at the moment?
-My favorite band right now would be(itīs a diff. question) It depends on what mood Iīm in but right now I listen to Apoptygma Berzerk , Colony 5, Nitzer Ebb
What band or bands would you like to tour with and why?
-I would like to tour with dMode it would be a pleasure for them to play after us ;) They always sell out so a lot of people would get up there eyes for us. And why not Apoptygma Berzerk
Is touring a pleasure or a necessary evil?
-Touring pure pleasure!!
What would you be doing right now if you weren't in F.T.T?
-If I wereīt in F.T.T I probably still would be doing Instrumental electro with vocoder
And that's how you came up with the name of the band? How did you come up with the name F.T.T?
-The band name F.T.T. Stands for Fragile Transistor Teqnology and the meaning is that things now a days breaks so easy nobody figths anymore the just move along
or buy new things back in the old days things lasted longer
If people don't know what you and your music are about, how would you describe F.T.T?
-I would describe F.T.T as a electronic band with lyric that sticks to you with song you remember
How did you come up with the title "Love Hate Love" (F.T.T latest CD)
-Love Hate Love itīs like yin/yang Good vs Bad Night vs Day the idea came up on the road to a gig listening to the news about bad things
All right. You guys toured heavily after "Love Hate Love" came out. How did the whole touring, to support that record, turn out?
How do you feel to hold the finished cd in your hands?
-We havenīt released our full CD yet itīs coming in the autumn
But to see the single across the biggest sites like iTunes, Amazon etc. etc. itīs a cool feeling
What are you currently listening to on your mp3 player? What artists have you been listening to these days?
-In my mp3 player Iīve got Spetnaz, Colony 5, Clan of Xymox, Grafton Primary, The Presets, Nitzer Ebb Iīve always been in to electronic music dMode, Howard Jones, Alphaville, Kraftwerk
Do you spend a lot of time on remixing other artists tracks or is it something you do when you have some time over?
-Iīve never been asked to remix any other artist yet
Is your family pretty impressed with what you've done?
-My family supports me and they are proud of me and what I have acomplished
Have you recorded any previous cd`s or posted any audio files on the Internet? what type of recording process did you use? who produced your recording?
-Weīve been putting songs on Myspace since 2006 We leave our material to the record company and they fix all the things with the records We record all the music exept the lyrics in my studio We (F.T.T.) are producing our things ourselves.
What are your views on the current state of this Electro / Electronica scene in Zweden.in terms of creativity and audiences? And the scene in other countries?
-The electro scen in Sweden is a subculture itīs not played frequently on any of the commercial record stations ON the public service radio you can here it sometimes but itīs always the biggest groups like dmode, Pet Shop Boys etc. But thereīs a rather big Electro scene The electro scen is bigger in the rest of europe that I know Donīt know what country is the best.
What new music inspires you when you are writing? tell me about lyrical compositions what you can tell about the done work? How does your music creation process work? How do youcreate a song?
-I get my inspiration from a lot of things From songs on the radio from things I see on the streets from news rapports Matti the singer who write the lyrics takes his iPod with instrumental song and drives a tour on his Harley Davidson and finds inspirations and a song is made When I create a song I start with a drumbeat and then I build it from there bass synth, leadsynths and pads I try to use different sounds/drums on all song It takes acouple of days to finish a song
How did you sell your CDs/Audio Files? (Consignment? Live sales? My space, iTunes,Distributor?
-We sell our songs on internetbased sites like iTunes, amazon.com and tons of more. When we tour we sell exclusive CD:s to You canīt buy them in stores.
Since the music industry is more open now to purely electronic music has this made things easier for you?
-Yes it has Because there are a lot of small labels that signs bands like us And the fact that big bands like dMode, Erasure, Pet Shop Boys is being played alot
So what are the main influences as a band at the moment?
-Our influences are Depech Mode, Apoptygma Berzerk, KraftwerK, MUSE, Suede
Do you see the Internet as a benefit for bands like F.T.T? Does the growing possibility of someone downloading your material, rather than buying it, worry you?
-If it hasnīt been for internet we would never get this far so Internet is the reason Iīm doing this interview right now ;)
Well the free downloading is something you canīt do anything about If people likes you and you get fans across the world Iīll guess you earn some money But if you could choose it wouldnīt be bad to get some money. There are still people who likes to buy a real record.
How do you see the future of download / Copyright in area of goth-Electro / Electronica music ? What are the best ways to develop it in your mind ?
-Download is the future thatīs a fact They have to reorganize things to get musicians to get money for there music maybe the internetcompanies have to pay the recordcompanies.
What about all the big festivals? Summer Darkness in the netherlands? Mera Luna in Germany and Wave Gothic Treffen in Germany and many more?
- I like festivals Itīs a great forum but the fact that two big festivals in Sweden are going bankrupt. Makes your sad We never played festivals but it would have been a great experience To be honest I donīt know so much about festivals in europe but the once you wrote about Iīve heard about them
what is the key to making music from F.T.T and what inspires you to keep growing as a musician?
-I will never stop making new songs I do it all the time Well Iīve got maybe about 80 cold cases in the archive Ready to be reopened when I come across them The things that keeps me growing as an musician is all the losy music that the biggest recordcompanies and the even bigger radiostation playes everyday over and over again
If there was one thing you want people to know about your band what would that be?
-I want people to know that F.T.T. is out there we give you nice music with thoughtful lyrics and nice leadsynth melodies.

-Upcoming plans Another singel release from the forthcoming album some livedates. Why not a tour in Holland if we were recomended
Do you think the music industry is dead?
-The music industry as we know it is dead
But itīs reborn Itīs a new era for the music industry right now
Where would you like to see F.T.T three years from now?
-Three years from now F.T.T. tours the world Playing in clubs, festivals and smaller arenas
What's the band's favorite song to play live?
-The favorite song to play live is Absolution the video effects are real cool
What was it like the first time you heard one of your songs on the radio ore internet ore clubs? who was the DJ that played your song?
-It was a truly kick when we heard the song the first time It was an a TV show
And, finally, what does the next twelve months hold for the band?
-Next 12 month single release, videomaking, albumrelease and some livegigs
