Greetings Anders / AUTODAFEH could you please shortly introduce our readers your music project Autodafeh? Please fill also a biographical resume
about how,when and where... Autodafeh was founded in 2007 by tell me more about Autodafeh?.....
Well, we began in late 2007 as you said, Mika and Jeppe are old friends from childhood, and Mika and Anders have worked together in various musical projects before.

Tell one secret about Autodafeh that you have never told to anyone?
We are the heaviest EBM band in the world....about 300kilos ?? :D
so tell me a bit more about yourself, such as musical?
We all do production, Mika is the lead vocals, Anders is the Keyboard player, and Jesper is the Percussionist.
how and why did you come about starting Autodafeh ? what else inspires you to create?
The Idea was actually pretty simple. The story began in late 2007 when Jesper and I met again after 16 years or something.. We started to talk about forming a classical EBM-band with a new twist. I was already working with Anders in another musical project and I asked him if he wanted to join, and he did. So we formed AUTODAFEH (ADF).Life is a great experience and influence to us!
Could you tell us a bit more about the origin of your band’s name?
The name is from the old SPK album Auto Da Fe', we added the h
Could you tell us more about you latest album?
Our latest album was Hunt For Glory, and we did pretty well in Germany on the DAC chart, we ended up at no. 1 for four weeks and we managed to be no. 10 in their yearly chart.We've sold units in many parts of the world.
Where did the concept come from? and whats planned now that your album is finished? or anything else you're working on? Tell me why this title "Hunt for Glory"? Tell us a few words about the concept of this album?
The concept is good danceable energetic songs.Hunt For Glory is a great title.We're releasing an EP next, called Re:lectro, we're going back to basics.We're working on our second album which includes a few nice surprises.We're playing as many gigs as we can.
Tell me about the label Sigsaly Transmissions?
A great independent label in the US.Marc Goldfuss the owner is really a driven person.
How is the current promotional tour going for supporting this album?
Great, we've had a few very good gigs, and great support from the audience.
Give me more info about full length album."Hunt for Glory"?
It's a great, danceable, energetic album.

What are your views on the current state of this electro scene in Sweden terms of creativity and audiences? And the scene in other countries?
You have very nice album..and many many more tell me about lyrical compositions what you can tell about the done work? How does your music creation process work? How do you create a song?
Well...normally we start with a few good beats, a baseline and som cool sounds. Then we try different lyrics, to see what fits the best.
Out of all of your album,ore your up coming album,which album would you say is your favorite album? Why? Hunt For Glory is a great album, Why? It's our first album.
The next album will also be great! Why....well we've developed our selves.

It was a great gig for us, It's a nice festival and we're happy that we had the opportunity to play there, we met loads of friends and a few new friends.
What is currently inspiring your material as an artist? tell me all about the dark scene of Zweden?
Life is a great experience and influence to us.The dark scene is growing in Sweden.
How did you come up with the name of your band Autodafeh? what is the key to making music from Autodafeh? and what inspires you to keep growing as a musician? The key to making music is to have fun, and enjoy yourself!
The audience inspires us.
What ideas, movements and personalities would you say were crucial for the definition and development of Autodafeh as a creative entity?
For Autodafeh, mainly Front 242 and lots of other Belgium bands
If there was one thing you want people to know about your band what would that be?
Please don't be afraid to talk to us after a gig! We're friendly!
Tell us a little bit more about Autodafeh what do you do in your spare time?
We all have daytime jobs, our spare time is dedicated to Autodafeh
What do you think of its intermingling with the electro, Darkwave and EBM scenes? while electro is your main musical pallet,what other music do you listen to?
We listen to all kinds of music, as long as it's good music!
How long have you been in the music industry and how has it changed over time? Now I have to ask,what's the inspiration for the Autodafeh story?.
Well, Mika and Anders have been working in the music industry since 1993, and It has changed, It was harder to get acknowledgement in the early 90's and harder to be discovered.When internet and Myspace came about, a lot of new options arose and it was easier to get your music out there, but still it's hard work to be seen. You have to put a lot of work into it. nothing comes for free.The inspiration for Autodafeh is life and when people like what you're doing.

Yes, we'll release our EP called Re:lectro on August 21st and then there's a new album in the pipeline with a few great surprises! ;) We'll keep on going!

Well, our next gig in Sweden is in October, at Club Bluescreen in Karlskrona We also have a gig coming up in Poland on the collapsed City festival in October.
