Minutka Square
is a band which cannot be given a certain ‘scene’ so fast.It sounds a bit like synthpop, but with breaky beats at the same time.It’s a pleasure listening to their MCD called ‘The Price of Oil’.The sound is very soothing to the ears.Although not a very dance-able CD, their music is just good!The lyrics also have a deeper meaning this time, so if you listen carefully, you can just get sucked into it.Their kind of music can be compared to certain techno bands like Micropoint, and also some of the synthpop bands like the early Assemblage 23.Just very relaxing, they take you into the world of a dream called Techno.Much more words I can’t speak of them actually, as these 3 numbers on their CD, are all I’ve heard.But what I have heard is quite good.And also, finally, very original!
