The person behind EBM.Industrial.nl

is Ruud.I'll introduce myself.I was born on the twenty-seventh of february in 1964,so I'm currently 43 years old. I'm listening to EBM for about 27 years now.

I live in Heerlen in the south of Holland.I come from a big family,I've got 9 brothers and 1 sister.

I started to listen to New Wave Virgin Prunes,Killing Joke,Sisters of Mercy,Siglo XX,

The Sound,The Chameleons,Trisomie 21,Siouxsie and the Banshees,The Cure,Joy Divission/New Order,The Cult,U2 et cetera) when I was 17.In 1981,when I was 17,I had my first experience with electronic music when I bought the LP of the first album of Depeche Mode:"Speak a Spell" with songs like "New Life","Photographic" "Tora! Tora! Tora!" and "Just Can't Get Enough".And more followed such as The Klinik,Insekt,Front 242 and so on.When I was 20 I left my parents and home in 1984.Together with my girlfriend I moved to Maastricht in Zuid-Limburg.We broke up in 1991.I got to know my wife in 1994.I moved from Zuid-Limburg in 1995 and joined her in Heerhugowaard.In 2000 we got our daughter Shimona and three years after that,in 2003,I married Astrid.I started 3 years ago with EBM-Industrial.nl, because of my passion for music.Over the years I had learned so much about EBM that I had enough inspiration to get an EBM website online.Last year I worked together with somebody on acombi-website.But it went wrong time after time.The website was hacked and everything was gone.It was hard for me to cope with this.No back-up,so all the things that I had collected over the past three years was gone,all my work lost.Pictures,information,biographies,links and reviews.But I'm working on my comeback.I'm ready to start all over again and to make sure that EBM-Industrial.nl

will become a great website for everybody who is interested in EBM.I'll try to keep you informed about everything going on in the world of EBM! and by building my Internet site only I have started in June 2006 get this and look it has become larger with much information,links,biography,news,CD-Review etcetra
