01- For the first question will be - Thanks JOGI & Aurinko that you have found time to give answers to these questions,How are you doing?
JOGI: Fine!
02- Hello JOGI & Aurinko what noise do you make in STURTZFREQUENZ?
JOGI: We do all kinds of electronic music, but mainly EBM.
03- How's the start of 2010 been for you thus far?
JOGI Well, it was quite busy and exciting. And as it looks right now, it will go on like this.
04- do you know the netherland?
JOGI: Yes, as a kid, I went there with my parents several times.
Aurinko: I must admit, I haven´t been there so far…
05- For a lot of people, this is probably going to be their first full introduction to STURTZFREQUENZ so how about you tell us a little bit about how you guys know each other and how the band came together?
JOGI: Well, at first, SF was just my solo project. But then I realized Aurinkos voice was quite good and would fit into my sound. So I asked her to join the project.
Aurinko: Thank you JOGI for the compliment. I´ve always wanted to sing in a music project, and here was my chance. Great!
06- Do you follow the electronic music Electro / Industrial / Gothic do you have any other favourite bands?
JOGI: Well, I wouldn´t say, we follow electronic music, but mostly, it somehow leads into this direction. But sometimes we also visit concerts outside of this scene.
07- How is your relationship with other electronic bands?
JOGI: Most contacts to other bands exist via Internet, such as contacts on myspace etc.. Many of the regional musicians I´m in contact with don´t make electronic music.
08- Can you give us a brief run-through of STURTZFREQUENZ story so far?
JOGI: Within the first three years I was just experimenting with different sounds, posted two or three songs on the net and looked what would happen. Then in 2006 things just went right of, when I spread the album “Fehler im Sender” via friends and, of course, on the net. I sent it to several Online radio station, and it was well accepted and the songs were played. Things like interviews, CD reviews and participations in “newcomer of the month” competition followed. After this, we came up with the online single “AMOK” which can be downloaded for free, just like the album “Fehler im Sender”. Just visit www.jamendo.com
Aurinko: It was very exciting when our song “Verlorene Liebe” was first played at an online radio programme. And a year ago, I found a Spanish movie on youtube. There was a scene at a club, and they played “Es brennt”. That was totally crazy.
09- How did you start to make music and what is Gothic for you?
JOGI: As a kid I started to play keyboard and realized early that it is much more fun to compose my own kind of music than playing from the sheets. To me, Gothic is an attitude for life, not only a burst of my rebellious youth.
10- What did you guys do for a living before STURTZFREQUENZ?
JOGI: Well, I took my first steps in music already in 1997. With a friend, DJ Maik, we had the DJ- project “Mobil Diskothek Enjoy” and we soon became some kind of local party heroes. N 2002 we changed the project name into Legorecords and from that time on, we were not only playing sets, but also started producing our own music. First CD “Silence ist golden” came out in 2004.
Aurinko: I took the classical way – I was a member of the school choir, and also wrote some lyrics, for example “Silence is golden”.

JOGI: If you like our music, go and show it to your friends and the Club DJs! ;-)
17- What's the name of your band? where did the name come from? or what's the story behind the band name?
JOGI: Well, I got this name STURTZGREQUENZ on my mind for quite al long time and although at that time there were several bands with a “Frequenz” name, I didn´t want to let the name go…
18- If people don't know what you and your music are about, how would you describe STURTZFREQUENZ?
JOGI: I´d decribe it as a somehow harder kind of electronic music with German lyrics.

JOGI: Synthesizer
Aurinko: If I´ll ever find enough time, I´ll learn how to play guitar.
20- band or solo
Both: Band
21- What do you think of a modern Gothic and about Electro / Industrial / Gothic scene?
JOGI: Well, a part of the new generation of the scene seems to become more and more colourful and multifarious. If you walk over the festival area, one can sometimes feel like on a carnival… but everyone should do as they like.
Damn, we´re so f*** tolerant!
22 - What was your best live experience so far?
JOGI: A spezial situation was the concert of Apoptygma Berzerk at the Mera Luna Festival 2008: We were there with some friends, real close to the stage and celebrated with them. That was fantastic.
Aurinko: I also remembered the Covenant Show at the WGT the same year. It was absolutely great, a real experience.
23- What's your favourite track of yours?
JOGI: Every single song is my favourite.
Aurinko: I`m fascinated by the atmosphere of “Es brennt”, but of course, I love all sings.
24- Our usual question - what is music for you?
JOGI: Music is my life.
Aurinko: everything in life is better with music, it makes hard situations a bit lighter, can influence your mind and feelings. Music makes my life go round.
25- Please list the name, age and respective instrument of each band member
JOGI: Aged 28, Synthesizer, Vocals, Production, Art work
Aurinko: Aged 28, Vocals, sometimes PR
26- you have very nice numbers` tell me about lyrical compositions what you can tell about the done work? How does your music creation process work? How do you create a song?
JOGI: Most of the lines come to my mind at work. I have to write them down immediately, and later I experiment with these lines at the synthesizer. If the theme idea and the lines fit I put them together and go on with the song.
Aurinko: JOGI does most of the work, but I just look over his lyrics, make some suggestions, etc.
26- What genre of music do you consider your work to be? Who are your major influences?
JOGI: EBM
27- Do you think that people from the music press didn't expect you to grow up musically?
JOGI: Well, no one ever told me something like this, but I think there are always people grumping. But I don´t care about them, I just do my own stuff.
28- How do you see the future of download / Copyright in area of goth-Electro / Industrial / Gothic music ? What are the best ways to develop it in your mind ?
JOGI: Downloads are a good opportunity for new bands to spread their music fast. But I must admit, I´m still a fan of CD and Vinyl. I hope they won´t disappear so fast.
29- what was your childhood like?
JOGI: Exciting.
Aurinko: My friends would say “sheltered”. But I think, just the right way to grow up.
30- If there was one thing you want people to know about your band what would that be?
JOGI: Just listen to this! ;o)
